Without any doubt this is the worst app with horrible service from CIBC and AC. As soon as I return from Europe it will be cut in little pieces and displayed at my local CIBC branch. This is my second year and after similar experiences last year, was assured the problem were corrected. Not so ! Terrible response time from “customer service”. Shame on you CIBC and Air Canada.

Starts to load and then hangs. Website using Firefox appears to work although login is not working properly.

Everything is good until make payment.

CIBC other prepaid visa’s were a lot better but for some reason they replaced those with this garbage. With the other cards you could load finds on the fly and get access to your money right away. This card you have to load funds via bill payment on the CIBC app and then wait several days to get access to your money which beats the purpose of having a travel visa.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I noticed there were a lot of negative reviews for this app so I figured I would share my positive experience. I had a trip planned through Germany and Belgium and I got this card for that reason. The card was shipped quickly, I loaded funds onto the card twice, and both times the funds were transferred within two days. I also used it at probably 15-20 merchants across both countries and never had an issue. Also, the FX conversion rate that I got through this card was much better than what I could have gotten through my regular credit card, ordering foreign cash from the bank, or exchanging funds directly at the airport. I would definitely, and have recommended it to others.
