Description
This app is used to control our Cellswitch Infinity range of home automation products.
The app will only work if you have already bought a Cellswitch Infinity or Cellswitch Nano and registered the Cellswitch on our website www.accentronix.co.za
After you have created an account and registered your Cellswitch to your account on our website you can download this app.
Step 1:
When you open the app for the first time it will ask you to enter you mobile number. Click on 'Register'
Step 2: You will receive a sms with an activation code that you need to type in.
Step 3: All of your registered Cellswitches will automatically appear in the Device List section. Please note that nothing will happen if you do not have any devices registered in your account.
Step 4. Click on one of your Cellswitches in the device list to enter its messaging section.
Step 5. Click on the 'On' 'Off' or 'Control' buttons to control your lights, open a gate or switch your geyser on or off. You can also manually type in custom commands that you can set up on the website.
Step 6. You will see all the 'control confirmation' and 'event' messages in the messages section.

Frustratingly not usable
I’m not able to get past the registration screen as no OTP is being sent. It throws an error for every phone number you enter.
Very basic and lacks features that would make it good
No shortcuts integration along with a very clunky ui and frankly ugly design reminiscent of apps from 2011-2013. Would be great to be able to have a widget or something to control essentials like a gate without having to open the app every time…
good in theory
The idea of being able to generate a pin for visitors is great, however it doesn’t make up for the fact that the bluetooth connection doesn’t seem to work at all on certain phones. Not once have I been able to open the gate at my estate with the bluetooth option. Once or twice it has worked via internet, but 99% of the time I have to call the gate to open it. This system is time consuming, inefficient and, it could be argued, dangerous as it encourages (requires, actually) people to be on their phones while driving. Even if you stop at the gate, another person may not and could cause an accident because they’re operating this app.
Not working
I need this app to get to my container but it is not working. OTP request responds with: OTP Request Issue. There was an issue requesting an OTP. Please make sure your mobile data or WiFi is switched on and there is enough signal. I made sure everything is working. It is on my iPhone XR.
OTP not working
The app is not sending me an otp after a numerous attempts still nothing
Registration
Unable to receive an OTP because I keep getting an error that I need to connect to WiFi or check my cellular data signal. Even if I am connected to WiFi or have full signal strength
Error on registration
OTP not received upon registration. I see this has been an issue for a while now for some apple users. Any chance of this being fixed? This app has so much potential.
Can’t register, no OTP received
To register the app requires an OTP but no OTP is received, so can’t register and can’t use the app.
Useless
I installed this devise on my electric fence for my cattle and theft on the farm only worked for a year from there on cant communicate with the fences the platform of accentronix doesn't work the technical team doesn't seem to get it going totally worthless platform won't recommend it al all for farm use!
