Unreliable

Scheduled a ride hours in advance and they completely ghosted us and caused us to miss our event

Overpriced

MeJítsal on

The estimate said it was $11-$15. My ride ended up being $75. This ended up being more expensive than a WAV ride share. When I called to complain, I was told to “disregard” the estimate prices. Why are the prices there if they’re not accurate? Also, the site says that wheelchair users do not need to pay extra fees, but I was charged $18.22 in extra fees. When I called about this, I was told that ADA riders need to pay for surcharge fees and toll fees. Are these not EXTRA FEES?! Also, I was just shuffled from agent to agent to a point where I just gave up. Having a disability is expensive enough and this app is just making our lives more difficult. You’re better of taking a ride share service. DO NOT USE THIS APP.

Not good for accessible rides

You’re not able to choose a general category of wheelchair accessible ride. They make you choose a specific type of car. Then you have to look for the wheelchair icon, which is in very light font. Why wait for a specific car model if several are wheelchair accessible. But you have to choose one. Makes no sense.

Ugh!

For my first time using it, I didn’t like that the phone said it would cost me $10 to get to my destination. I get in the cab and when I arrived at my destination, the driver charged me $24. A whole $14 jump! I didn’t like that. Say/write what you mean, and mean what you say/write. I see the idea but that may be an issue for our disabled community. I know, for me, I like to be ready with money in hand when alone. Thank goodness I wasn’t, however, if I wasn’t, I would have had difficulty taking out the rest of the money.

I forgot something in the car and there is no way of reaching the driver through the app or otherwise. That’s not good!

Can’t see the advantage

My concern was ease of use. It doesn’t seem any better than other cab apps at all. For visually impaired it was difficult to set up due to lack of contrast in text. Disappointing. Will watch out for more reviews in case I’m missing something.
