HANDS DOWN THE NEXT MOST IMPORTANT FEATURE TO WIRELESS TRANSMISSION ON THIS APP AND I CANT UNSQUEEZE THE VIDEO AFTER RECORDING AN IN APP SCREEN RECORDING. FIX THIS ASAP PLEASE. IT WORKED FINE LAST YEAR.

You need to add CineEye 2S in the scrolling menu guys. It isn’t there. I can’t connect the app to my device. I also have the original CineEye which works fine. But I was not expecting a basic issue like this. Get it fixed.

Please add the support for the GH4 camera on the next update ! I don’t understand why this product will not work with the GH4 ? Thanks

The CineEye wireless video transmitter has been great, very happy with it. The app, on the other hand, needs some TLC. First of all, the good. Delay is minimal, peaking is quite good, connecting to the wifi and launching the app is relatively painless. Overall, it works. Now, the quirks. Some of the English translations haven’t come through quite right (“into main” to launch app, “pseudo” for false colour). The video record option creates an mpeg file that cannot be texted, iMessaged or sent with Facebook Messenger (from my iPhone 7). I imported LUTs by sending them from my laptop to my iPhone via Airdrop and they immediately loaded into the Accsoon app, which is great. But once you select a LUT you can’t toggle it off - you have to relaunch the connection. I’m also not 100% sure that it’s reading the LUTs properly (but I haven’t tested that). The RGB mode (viewing red, blue or green only) has little value in the real world and doesn’t need to be hogging up space on the toolbar. Put it in the More menu. Probably same thing for Gray mode. Focus (peaking) works really well but I wish it didn’t always default to 90%. It should remember my last setting. Histogram is okay but having a waveform would be more useful. Zebra highlights everything above your selected value instead of a small range above and below your value. You don’t actually get a numerical value on your zebra point, you’re just guessing. Pseudo (false colour) also doesn’t tell you the exact ranges of the different colours. Perhaps they’re listed on the website, I haven’t checked. The safety and aspect markers are all very good. They’re tucked away in the More menu as they should be. Also in the More menu is a digital zoom option. This is far more useful than Gray or RGB. Trade places! I often get an alert in the top right corner saying wifi signal is weak when it isn’t. It would be nice to have a screen lock button or gesture so you could hide the toolbar and not worry about bumping it back on by accident. It would also be nice to be able to hide the wifi status icon. It’s too big. I wish you could plug in earbuds and monitor camera audio but it doesn’t appear that the transmitter passes any audio. The ability to store screenshots would be very useful. Overall the app works fine, especially if you’re handing it off to a director for monitoring. Fixing these quirks would make it stellar.
