L’association Achahada a pour objectif la protection du droit de tout musulman à se nourrir de viande halal (licite) en garantissant le respect des règles religieuses en terme de sélection de bêtes, d’abattage et de transformation et ce conformément à la législation française et aux règles strictes d’hygiène; défense des intérêts moraux et collectifs des musulmans de France, préservation de la tradition musulmane et de la pratique religieuse dans le respect des lois françaises.
Achahada est un organisme d’authentification de viande en abattoir et procède à la vérification au moyen d’un contrôle strict. Achahada ne possède aucune boucherie et aucun abattoir. Elle est prestataire de services auprès des abattoirs et des centres de transformation des produits alimentaires halal.
