Acompanion

Smooth Check-in/out Solution

Published by: Automicle

Description

Automicle's Acompanion app offers an alternative option for eTickets that do not yet have compatibility with Apple Wallet but require specialized features to facilitate gate access at stations (trains, metros, buses, etc.) or unlock various facilities (lockers, bike storage, shared bikes, shared cars, etc.) through QR codes or Bluetooth technology.
For example, public transport operators like NS, RET, HTM, and GVB require eTickets to be displayed at full brightness for gate opening or inspection purposes. Moreover, Thales gates at train and metro stations necessitate the temporary deactivation of NFC when using QR code-based eTickets. Alternatively, an EMVc card can be used to record payment information for check-in and check-out processes.
