Welcome to the Active+me REMOTE Recovery App for supporting adults recovering from a cardiac or respiratory exacerbation or procedure.
Active+me REMOTE Recovery has been developed with the support of clinical experts and patients to help you manage your long-term condition.
Active+me REMOTE Recovery has a CE and UKCA-mark and is certified as a Class I medical device.
Comprehensive exercise module
Use your phone’s in-built pedometer to track your steps with Active+me REMOTE Recovery. Score your level of exertion before and after walking and the Active+me REMOTE Recovery App will automatically progress your target.
Access pre-recorded exercise classes developed with an NHS physiotherapist. Record your level of exertion throughout the session and the Active+me REMOTE Recovery App will automatically progress the intensity of exercise.
Join live exercise classes provided by your clinical organisation within the Active+me REMOTE Recovery App (no separate video platform login required).
Learn about your condition
Dedicated education courses are included so you can learn about your condition and how to manage it.
Animated help is embedded in the app to help you understand how each feature supports the management of your heart and lung conditions.
Manage your condition at home with self-monitoring tools (Supported Self-Management)
Use the medication diary to track adherence and use of your medications. Receive reminders when it is time to take your next dose.
Use connected medical monitors to measure your physiological signs, including:
• Blood Pressure and Heart Rate using our connected Blood Pressure Monitors.
• Oxygen Saturation using our connected Pulse Oximeters.
• Activity and Sleep using an Activ8rlives BuddyBand2.
• Inhaler adherence using an Activ8rlives PUFFClicker for Clenil® Modulite®, Salbutamol (Ventolin®), Salbutamol (Salamol®), Flixotide®, Seretide® and Fostair® inhalers.
• Weight and Body Composition using an Activ8rlives Body Analyser.
• Lung Function (Peak Flow, FEV1) using a SmartOne Peak Flow Meter.
• Full Spirometry using an Activ8rlives Spirometer @Home.
View and understand your data
View all data collected on colour-coded charts within the Active+me REMOTE Recovery App so you can learn and understand your trends.
You may also export your data to Apple Health.
Generate reports to share with your clinician
Generate a detailed PDF report from within the Active+me REMOTE Recovery App, which you can print off to share your progress and trends with your clinician at your review.

Every action you complete earns points within the Active+me REMOTE Recovery App. As your points accumulate, you’ll earn medals (Bronze, Silver and Gold). Share your achievements with your groups.

Where supported, your clinical organisation can help tailor your App experience and set targets that are specific to you.
Use of the Active+me REMOTE Recovery App requires a subscription, which is handled by the App Store and will auto renew unless cancelled. You will be charged 24 hours before your renewal date. If you do not cancel 24 hours before your renewal you may be charged. If you purchase a subscription during any free trial period, then any unused portion of the trial will be forfeited.
