I use it quite a bit to watch anime online and it actually works compared to the others.
This is good to have on iOS, especially as all the other ad blockers can’t manage to actually block the ads you download it to avoid. That being said, it also is very much bare-bones, down to lacking the ability to not just have extra tabs to open like Firefox, but also trying to use YouTube for example, while it cuts out the ads wholly from it, you have to each time you boot up the browser set the theme to your preference of light or dark theme with YouTube itself. The worst part though? The lack of being able to view the browser in portrait mode. This app could truly be better than this, like the modified Firefox on Android that has ad blocking by default, as this is simply the bare minimum. Useful? Very much so! But, does it have everything you need, to replace Safari AND Chrome & Firefox? Sadly falls short there. I do believe it could get better though over time, and I pray it does. Update: YouTube has been fixed up, now, it just needs extra tabs and portrait mode, if all that can be done, it’ll help to outdo Safari, Chrome, and Firefox together. Current Update: This ad-blocking browser has come very far from when I first downloaded it! For example, being able to rotate the screen in either direction means a lot, it overall has become far better than the original update I started using this with! That being said, it can still use some tweaks, like being able to pause YouTube in full screen mode would help a good bit, let alone how it seemingly opens an extra window open when opening a video in YouTube itself can be annoying, and extra tabs would help greatly too! I’d outright prefer being able to make use of this browser as the only one needed on iOS, but as it stands it will need some more tweaks to become a full-on replacement browser for Safari, Chrome, or Firefox itself, and I can’t wait when it gets to that point.
definitely better than all the safari adblock extensions out there it seems the 2023-08-28 update broke the quick and convenient swipe down on youtube video player to dock at the bottom is broken. now must click on x-button at the top. would you please restore this feature, my thumb is not that long to reach all the way to the top-right screen, thanks. also would you consider add a default startup homepage & default new tab homepage?
After trying 10+ apps on app store which claiming as Ad block browser, this one just works out of the box
It does not work on my iPad Air 2 v13.6.1, as soon as the AdBlock logo with white background come up then immediately closes. Otherwise it works perfectly on my iphone, thanks for the unique YouTube features! One question, on yt how come there’s an x on the address bar top-left instead # of tabs access. Because of that I can’t have more than 1 YouTube tabs, which is sad.
Glad I finally found an app that actually does what it promises and lets me watch videos in picture-in-picture! 👍
