This app is a life saver. Since United States has no real data protection, unlike Europe, this app is a life savior in keeping you email account clean

Why paywall to host my own instance? Deleting app now. So much for open source

What would be worse? Having your email address or a password displayed on a billboard? This was a thought that sold me on this service. Once your email is on lists then you’re in trouble and have to constantly mark them as spam and it seemed like a never ending process. That’s the beauty of this service. I have a unique alias for every login and email list I’m signed up for. Every email received has a description from when the alias was created so I know who’s been sharing my email. I can easily deactivate or delete an Alia’s at any time. I have a unique password and email address for every login, which logins are managed by a password manager but this service is a critical piece in the puzzle. AddyManager is extremely easy to use and is integrated with the browser and OS I use. The cost is worth every penny to give me the control I have and greatly increasing my security. I haven’t had any issues but you do place great trust in this product so you’ll need to weigh the options and decide what’s best for you. I highly recommend.

These last couple of updates the app has stopped working for me. I now have to go through my web browser to use anon addy. I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, wiped my phone, reinstalled the OS, you name it…, and all I get when I open the app is failed to load prompt. Unfortunately, I have to discontinue use of the app. Great to hide your emails from prying eyes or you don’t hand out to spam clients. Just wished the app worked on my phone.

What a great way to take advantage of AnonAddy whether self-hosted or using the primary service, thank you for working on and maintaining this app!

The app is just so good. Seriously it’s insane how it doesn’t have more attention. My email experience over the past year or so has improved tremendously because of this app and its alias service. Using it with like 5/6 of my existing accounts (with daily activity on all) has been effortless, and gave me peace of mind knowing my inbox won’t be bombarded with spam when I sign up for some retail store’s deals online. Especially for more private accounts, it’s a godsend. Out of all the apps that offer this service, this is the best of them all, in my eyes. And in yours if you decide to try it out.
