Adobe Aero

Interactive Augmented Reality

Published by: Adobe

Description

Discover the fastest, most intuitive, and most robust way to author and experience interactive augmented reality (AR) content on the iPhone — no coding or 3D design skills needed.
See your content in AR by easily bringing in 3D models, photos, layered files, and other 2D content from Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, or images from your phone, desktop, or Adobe Creative Cloud files. You can also bring in assets from applications like Adobe Substance 3D, Maya, C4D and place them in the real-world environment around you, already optimized to look great in your AR experience. Placing assets is fast and easy with familiar gestures to rotate, scale, and move.
With Aero, you can create interactive experiences without needing to rely on a developer. Apply behaviors to your content to build combinations of triggers and actions that draw viewers of your experience to drive the narrative and engage with the story. Add motion to your objects by using your mobile device to draw the path of motion you want the object to take.
Switch to Preview mode for fast feedback on how the edits you make will look and feel for viewers of your experience. Easily test how interactions and placement of your assets will enhance your scene and record quick videos or take snapshots of your work in progress so you share and get input for rapid iteration.
Whether you’ve completed your design or still want feedback from other collaborators, Aero gives you the power to share your creations for easy viewing. Now that Adobe Aero supports App Clips, people can view your Aero experiences on iOS without needing to install the Aero app. Plus, Aero experiences load much faster than before, enabling viewers to dive right in and start interacting with your content.
Send a link so people can interact with your creation in Aero on their own device in Viewer mode. When you make changes to the creation, you can publish your changes to the original shared link — no need to update the link or QR code.

Can’t believe Adobe hasn’t updated it for the last 10 months. Obviously it’s crushing after all Apple updates.

This sucks

My thoughts on Aero? I had to get this for school, utterly useless. Here is some of the problems I encountered, not all though. First, it wouldn’t download even with perfect wifi and no storage. Then when I got it, it wouldn’t connect with my files and kept freezing. After I finally got my file open after an actual hour and 26 minutes of waiting, it froze AGAIN. The app wouldn’t scan the flat surface I was giving and wouldn’t follow any action I tried to get it to do. Useless. It wasn’t rendering my object properly and the app kept closing itself. By now, the deadline on my project was way past due, and I had nothing to show for it. Why? Because it deleted my project on its own. By this point I gave up, but my friend Sam had a similar experience after me. This app ruined my life and made me lose marks on my project, I would not recommend to ANYONE. DO NOT USE THIS APP. In conclusion, it sucks and is not worth getting, a waste of space if you ask me.

It’s great when it works but most of the time it can’t even start. I’ve updated my iOS and cleared my memory without luck. I usually have to delete it and reinstall.

Great idea behind this. There are a few minor bugs but of course those will be eliminated in the future. A suggestion I would definitely comment on is that I think we should have the option to pick a background off of our camera roll instead of having to take a picture right then and there when we want to make a project. Great idea, has amazing potential!

Still need some work...

With the new update, it at least start. What Adobe is aiming for with this is absolutely amazing. BUT, lots of bugs. Still need work. Keep it up Adobe.
