Tries to force you to download another app to update
The said it was due for an update and to “click here” to update. It would not open until you clicked the link which opened a webpage to download another random app. I closed and reopened the app and the same thing kept popping up. I had to update it by going to the App Store searching the app then updating from there.

Update is awful
I use the advance app very frequently. In the past the app has afforded me the opportunity to search parts, track orders, purchase parts online. Lately with updates the app is frequently useless due to locking up or timing out. All of the luxuries that the app had are now clunky and have led to me using other stores apps to purchase parts.
Gift card
Visited 2 Advance stores to purchase a gift card their having an issue with customers purchasing gift cards in store the card will not validate at the register. online checkout you can not use multiple gift cards for 1 transaction or use multiple forms of payment gift card/credit card for the transaction, I have voiced the inconvenience 3 years ago today nothing has changed, it must not be a priority of advance auto parts .
