Stürzt andauernd ab, trotz neuesten iPhone.

Die Cam hat eine sehr gute Qualität, was die Aufnahmen und die Bedienung betrifft! Wozu man eine App braucht, die nicht in der Lage ist sich von zu Hause aus zu verbinden, finde ich für eine 500€ + Installation 350€ richtig mau! Man muss sich jedes mal von Bluetooth und WLAN im Fahrzeug trennen um überhaupt auf die Cam zuzugreifen!

Die Verbindung der Dashcam zum Mobiltelefon kann auch nach mehrmaliger Neuinstallation nicht hergestellt werden. Die Fehlermeldung und der „support“ sind absolut nicht hilfreich.

Disappointing that not available through Apple CarPlay

Update July 2024: Updated with the latest firmware. Reset the volume & voice again. Low and behold, next time I get in the car all the volumes at zero again. BMW, seriously, sort this out!!!! You lose another * for taking so long to fix this. Had the ACE 3.0 front camera fitted to my 22 plate 5 series as a replacement for the Surround Camera/Drive Recorder option which was deleted from my build due to chip shortages. On the surface, being hardwired, it’s always ready and the image quality seems good. Stick a 128GB Samsung Pro microSD in (suited for dashcams and CCTV) and good to go. However, still, after several updates and over 12 months, 2 problems remain: - Set the volumes on the app, for the beeps and voice replies, and it’s fine for a while, then randomly turns itself back to silent again. - The car has integrated Apple CarPlay and yet you have to faff about disconnecting CarPlay before you can connect the app to the dashcam. Really?? Surely this can be improved? Ideally, there would be the App in CarPlay, where you could use the big display on CarPlay to access the camera.

The volume settings in the app for voice and beep keep setting to zero so camera doesn’t talk App update doesn’t sort it and firmware of camera is updated too

Overall a good camera with settings menu easy to operate. If there was an option for live view without connecting to the camera via Bluetooth then I would of given 5 stars

The bottom line here is there are better more reliable devices on the market for a lot less cost. My phone will simply not connect to the camera despite hours on trying. My advice don’t waste your time and money purchasing one.

Takes a long time to connect mobile phone to review video’s. Also, function settings suddenly stop working and have to be reset.
