A wonderful homage to the classic retro pinball games!

Horrible controls!!!!!!

Unplayable! Forget logic, you need to play as if the learning curve is how you manage to hit the ball before time and learn the ability to time traveler.

Adventure pinball. Excellent game. Very different pinball game.

Yet another masterpiece

Game stew, I’ve been playing your games since day 1 and not a single game has disappointed. I don’t write reviews but I will for Game Stew. Every game has a great surface, it’s appealing to the retro gamers and It’s super time consuming. I am more than okay with paying for your works of art. Please keep up the good work, keep pushing, keep making games! I don’t want to miss any content.

Horrible controls, never fixed

I have several other Game Stew games and love them. This one, however, is horrible. The flippers are not responsive half of the time. You have to press in the exact awkward spot, but even then, especially the right flipper doesn’t do anything. There is no way to contact the developer that I can find. I will be asking for a refund from Apple. The developer’s other games are fine, but I should have read the reviews of this one. It’s one of the worst games I’ve ever played. The concept is cool. But the UI is terrible. Avoid it. I regret buying it.

Lag

Playing on iPhone 11 - all other apps are closed and there is lag. Not good! Also, there is blank/empty space at the bottom of the screen where I could (and should) be touching to activate the flippers, but apparently that area does not register as active and I am forced to touch the screen on the actual board/playfield and obstruct my view of the game any time I want to try to hit the ball. Also not good. Very disappointed.

Too frustrating

Please add a casual mode with 50-70% ball speed. I love the idea, I love pinball but it’s barely playable. :(

Almost Impossible to Play

MidKid722 on

Great concept, love the Game Boy Pocket grayscale art style, and there are plenty of different screens/tables to keep me entertained. However, this game is almost impossible to play because the left flipper only works about half the time, and it’s nothing but infuriating. Also, the pause button and magnifying glass button are in a terrible location on the screen; they’re right where I want to have my thumbs to use the flippers. And the fact that the magnifying glass icon starts highlighting itself every time you enter a new screen because it wants you to press it and read about the goals in the room is super annoying. Why would I want to stop the action to read the goals? Either make the goals more apparent without instruction (which I actually think they are, so it’s redundant) or have the goals flash on screen like every other video pinball game on the market. This has the potential to be a really fun game, but between the ONLY action input not working properly, and some questionable design and UI choices, I’ll probably never be able to actually enjoy it. Definitely do not recommend this game in its current state.

Fun game, but ball drops way too fast.

This game is a lot of fun and the art style is really cool; but the ball drops waaayyyy too fast. The speed of it is kinda unforgiving and takes some of the fun out of the experience.
