AdventureQuest 3D MMORPG

Fantasy MMO RPG now w/ Sandbox

Published by: Artix Entertainment

Description

Prepare your potions, sharpen your swords, and get ready for a MMO reminiscent of those old school Flash games but with slightly better graphics. Welcome to AdventureQuest 3D, where fantasy meets hilarity in an epic quest for adventure, filled with fierce battles, legendary loot, and questionable fashion choices. New game updates every week with free DLC!
NEW FEATURE: SANDBOX HOUSING
We reimagined player-created content to deliver the sandbox game of your dreams. Housing customization allows you to freely Place, Rotate, Scale, Distort, and Stack every item with 0 regard to the laws of physics. It’s better than Minecraft! Probably.
Build ANY house you can dream, and create ANYTHING you can imagine… like a theme park with a rollercoaster, or a helicopter made out of sofas. Yup. These exist in game. Whatever you can think of, you can make it – including obstacle courses. Build an insane parkour map to frustrate your friends!
CUSTOMIZE YOUR CHARACTER
• Make a unique character and look however you want (so long as you like anime faces)
• Equip any item for power or appearance (transmog ftw)
• Change your Class anytime (cus commitment spooky)
• Morph into 200+ animals, monsters, birds, and… a bush (Travel Forms get wild fr)
THOUSANDS OF ITEMS, WEAPONS, & WEIRD EQUIPS
Axes, swords, staffs, sundried fish, scythe blades (scythe + sword = epic), fidget spinners (why did you make us do this?), pew pew thingies, sleek suits, old school knight armor, matrix-looking long coats, gloves, boots, capes, helms, belts, hair styles, and the perfect accessories so you can, like, ya know, make a killer impact with skull hair clips (so hot right now… just like our outdated references)
TRUE CROSS PLATFORM MMO RPG
• Play on mobile or desktop in real time
• All devices log into the same open world
• Small download size and doesn’t take up 35gb like Genshin, smh
CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE
Do ya dig solo-play or teaming up in groups? Do you follow the story steadfast or forge your own path? In AQ3D, you can play the way you want! Embark on the main storyline, follow your lifelong dream of becoming a Necromancer, or pick up random quests from hundreds of NPCs loitering around Lore. Stick to PvE for RPG lovers, or dominate PvP battlegrounds in MMO brutality. Some maps are even scaled, meaning no matter your level, you can join in on the fun. For the bravest legends, you can (try to) solo dungeons or team up for a raid. Or just chill in cozy Battleon, chat with friends, go fishing, get pulled into a dance off, or just show off your character’s gear. You do you!
NOT PAY-TO-WIN
• Finally, an MMO that's not going to wreck your wallet (and GPU, honestly)
• Earn power & cool items by proving yourself through gameplay. Wow, what a concept!
• Optional cosmetics / transmog if you’d like to support us… and our anime obsession ^_^
NOSTALGIC MEMORIES FROM YOUR OLD SCHOOL
Aging ourselves big time, but do you remember playing those old Flash games in your school computer lab? Battle On? Adventure Quest? Dragon Fable? That’s us!! We reimagined our turn-based RPG AdventureQuest and created a new multiplayer experience in a massive open world setting. Nostalgic NPCs like Artix, Cysero, Robina, Warlic, and Yulgar await! And let’s not forget about the classic monsters like Zards, the obligatory Slimes found in every MMORPG for some reason, and of course Akriloth, the world-destroying red dragon!
MASSIVE OPEN WORLD MMO
• 100+ locations to explore
• Old school zones done up in 3D like Battleon, Darkovia, and Ashfall
• Challenging parkour maps (some have lasers!)
• 5v5 PvP battlegrounds
• 20 player raid on Dragon’s Lair
• 5 player dungeons
• Challenge fights
• Weekly DLC
• Slay and play your way through enchanted lands, ancient forests, dragon graveyards, and war-torn towns as villagers & heroes around the world unite across realms and platforms

AdventureQuest 3D MMORPG Reviews

Fun for both casual and hardcore mmorpg fans

Great game that offers many content for players to enjoy. Helpful community with a strong player-base. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a must have in anyone’s collection

This is an absolutely fantastic game Artix entertainment may be a small company but they’re passionate and are always updating their games and if it first you’re hesitant to spend money on this game. Just remember all the money goes to helping this company continue producing more and better content. Keep it up and battle on.

Overly Grindy/Archaic Microtransactions/Devs with no Focus

The game isn’t too bad, albeit extremely dated (even for its time), with the writing being the main selling-point, as well as the many classes. Here’s the thing though: good luck getting any of those classes (other than the primary 4) unless you shell out cash for them. There’s even an $80AUD transaction for the Guardian Class, with a cosmetic and some Freemium currency. To say this game wasn’t “pay-to-win” wouldn’t be disingenuous. Doubly surprised that this is the case, with the game only retaining around 2.5k players daily across all of the servers. It just seems predatory to the unfortunate souls who are hooked on this dead MMO. Even Blizzard, bless their black souls, aren’t this greedy or predatory with their content. Lastly, the devs spreading themselves way too thin. Why have a weekly update for all of your games? There is no point when they retain no players. Why not limit it to monthly, or hell, fortnightly updates? It’d give you time to actually port your dead, 2d “MMO” to mobile finally. I just feel like this entire studio is being run by a skeleton crew with no focus, purely to be on player retention for their 1000 players average across all games. You’re not a AAA studio, boys, don’t spread yourselves this thin. Focus on a singular project and put everything into it. Not a thousand other ones with barely any effort put in. This game would probably be a 7-8/10 if they actually focused on updating gameplay, and not some nothing event every week.

This is a great game. Sure, it might not have ultra-fancy graphics, but it’s actually pretty fun once you get into it. With everything from weird pets to weirder fast food restaurants (foot lettuce, anyone?), I would honestly recommend this game to any of my friends. I’m semi-newish, but there are already loads of things to do - as well as a classic dungeon crawler you can fish, do parkour, customise your avatar, and a lot more. Everybody I’ve met so far has been really friendly and helpful, and as well as the main storyline there are loads of (slightly odd) side quests and in-game secrets and exploration, as well as random daily boss battles and PvP. My favourite types of games are open-world MMORPGs (bit specific I know), and this fits the bill pretty nicely. I do think it would be good if you could have your own land/house to hang out with friends and decorate (saw plans for that on the website but hope it’s coming soon), some more casual activities like farming or building, an actually good tutorial, and some sort of player-run market or shop-building scheme, but overall it’s a pretty good use of your time whether you’re a dedicated gamer or just drop in occasionally to relax and chat with friends.

BEST HANDHELD MMORPG

have been playing for a few weeks now and after trying nearly every mmo in the App Store, AQ3D is my favourite. i deleted all the others. Reminds me of WoW mixed with FFXIV. I like its humour and puns and just the way the game does it's stuff. one of those rare games that you think about and want to play. the only bug I have encountered so far is the level up chest reward bugs out sometimes and gets stuck in a loop so you have to close the app and reopen it but that's literally all so far.

Absolutely fantastic!

I can’t believe I’ve only discovered this awesome game recently. If you are a fan of old school MMORPGs like WoW, RuneScape, this will be right up your alley. Filled with plenty of puns, cheesy jokes and pop culture references, this appeals to my sense of humour. Besides the basic warrior/ mage/ rogue/ healer classes, you can unlock and switch back to others including but not limited to necromancer/ ninja/ paladin/ berserker/ dragon slayer/ pirate etc. There are plenty of things to do besides questing and dungeoning, such as fishing, crafting cosmetics/ gear, collecting pets, parkour, battlefield siege, PvP arena etc. The developers obviously care a lot about this game and release regular content updates. Be warned that this is not pay2win but pay2lookfly, and even then you can still get great cosmetics from grinding and generous daily treasure chests which contain premium currency too. The graphics obviously aren’t the latest but they carry a sense of nostalgia. The other benefit is that it runs smoothly on my older iPad. I haven’t encountered any toxic players so far. Definitely give this game a try, you’ll not be disappointed.

Everything is nice except that I hope drop rates for items can be a bit more higher cause Im working 5 days a week and I dont have the time like others to grind for items. Thank you.

A Classic Reborn.

Adventure quest 3D is an amazing mobile MMORPG. That’s it. That’s all that needs to be said. Yeah, it takes time to quest and craft gear. But the witty humour and hilarious story telling carry this game very far. Like other mmos it’s a grind at times but the community and weekly updates will keep you entertained every single time you go to the bathroom or are on the bus going to work. Good stuff
