AFIS Wildfire Map

The new AFIS app does not replace the I’d one. It has no usable data. We are in the peak of our fire season and now we are rendered blind. The samsung still allows users the opportunity to download the of one.

This new update does not help the Fire Protection Associations with the FDI anymore. No planning etc can be done. The FDI was an important feature for this App. It seems that is know only a website in a App format. Only 1 star from me to be able to submit this comment.

No forecasting feature

I have used the original app for years every single day during the fire season. Recently the app has been updated and now is totally useless. Fire index no longer available, no predictions and even fire near by no longer available. Don’t waist your time down loading

The features advertised here is no linger available on the new app. The new app has one cool map, but all the other extremely valuable features is gone. I spoke to AFIS about it. Financial strains seems to be the cause for all the valuable features to have disappeared. This app is now only good for record keeping. It is not helpful in preventing fires or preparing for fires. I give it no stars, but has to otherwise my review won't be accepted.

Data constantly unavailable. Don’t get the app. It looks like nobody’s there to run it anymore or update it. Doesn’t work at all.

I tried to open, but it says it’s error to upload the information. This need to be updated.

During the Betty’s Bay veld fires near Cape Town, I wanted to use the app for fire warnings spreading to my area nearby... app repeatedly failed to load information, timing out with no response from server. NOT what you want to see when at fire risk.
