AFN Now

The app seems to be working much better than the previous reviews indicate. I was incredibly disappointed to find that the app does not allow the use of casting, screen share, or apple play. It sure would be nice if the developers listed that in the app settings so customers did not spend hours to try to get it to work. Bottom line, you have to have a fire stick or similar device or you will be stuck watching it on your cellphone.

AFN should be ashamed of themselves for this pathetic streaming app. It doesn’t work as advertised and crashes constantly. FIX IT!!

I have never had an app so difficult to attempt to use. After an hour with customer service they could never get it to work for me. Leave it to the military to make the worst app ever allowed in the App Store .

The app sends me notifications about games and what not —but I have not once had the app successfully load or show any content whatsoever. I appreciate the benefit of AFN but the app is completely useless.

It never works. Never loads. Tried pixel phone, Samsung tablet, and iPhone. Straight garbage. I hope no one was paid to write this app. Should be reported to fraud waste and abuse if so

This is just another instance that AFN or the government blasts champagne in their face saying they’re taking care of us but it doesn’t work at all. The app is extremely clunky, sign in never works and if I actually do get it to sign in, it tells me that “this content is only available at overseas military bases”. I’m stationed in Japan so don’t know how much more overseas I can get. I also loved how they celebrated that any NFL game would be available on the app this year and that was never the case when I actually did manage to get the app to work. It was always the one or two market games that was being shown on cable AFN and that’s it. Absolutely terrible app and terrible effort by AFN.

It’s where I’ve been watching all my sports this year. And it has allowed me to catch all of my Ravens games and even rewatch the ones I missed.

I have tried opening and reloading this app several times and it just shows me a blank black screen when opening. I give up!

It doesn’t work!! Just like everything in the Army!! Watched a couple games after about a week it stopped loading stuff on the Home screen and now I can’t log back in! Thank you Army!

What a waste of time. As usual the military has over complicated what could be a very useful app. The app constantly logs you off requiring you to re authenticate via a QR code or via logging into the website and inputting an authentication number. Then once logged in, it might only connect to your desired channel 10% of the time, the rest of the time it just spins and times out. I’d rather just not watch TV at that point.
