Aggretsuko is a story of Retsuko, a red panda who works in the Accounting Department of Carrier Man Trading Co., Ltd.
She dreamt of enjoying the glamorous life as a career woman working at a commercial company, but in reality, her bosses bombard her with tasks, and her coworkers push her around.
When the stress from her evil boss and foolish behaviors of her coworkers become too much to handle, she heads to the karaoke after work and starts screaming death metal to vent out her anger.

Liked the game before al the ads

I really enjoyed the game. Especially when it came out, but it was never stricken with this many ads before. Plus an ad every time you complete a level is not necessary

Compliments and changes

Love the game inspired me to download was after watching season 5 of the same show on Netflix. Kinda wished the videos played it in English instead of Japanese with subtitles.

Pretty fun!

I like it, it’s a bit laggy with connection errors, but those are really the only downsides!

What happened!?

Came back to this game after months more than excited to play it again. I remember loving it and sinking so much idle time into this game. However now it’s borderline unplayable between the constant crashes and bugs, it runs more like an ad-fest cash grab than the genuinely enjoyable game I remember.

Cash grab - Lost trust in the developer

Submitting an updated review on top of my old one. Been a loyal player for a long time. The recent update has added a lot of ads to this game and also a $ option to remove ad. The ads pop up after every level. Some of them have music. Many of them have multiple close buttons (none of them works) and would still pop-up apps store download link even though you don’t click the ads. Some ads would crash and go to blank screen when they finish playing. They are basically forcing us to buy the no ads button. All trust is lost. Honestly, I would have paid if they didn’t have so many recent controversies regarding awards. I have previous paid for the “pay additional money to get awards” add-in, but they never retains and makes you pay extra every month. Also my iPad gets really hot when I play this game now. No problem playing other games.

Disappointing changes

Adding auto-play ads has ruined this game. I used to happily watch the voluntary ads for power ups, but watching ads just for the sake of just getting to play the game completely takes me out of it. This game was so great because it wasn’t one of the games that forced you to sit through advertising just to play it, but actually rewarded you for choosing to watch ads. Your player base feels alienated now—I myself have stopped playing altogether and only log in to see if you’ve reversed this terrible decision. Please consider walking this back.

Forced Ads

Why the forced ads? They used to be optional. Really disappointing.

Dishonest company

A recent update introduced a bug which users unknowingly took advantage of, in response their accounts have been limited. This is 100% on the developers and not any players yet they’re the ones being punished.
