AGU Events

Unable to load conferences .. for 2 years in row 👎

I updated the OS on my device to use this app, and it still does nothing. The most recent event shows up but I cannot open it.

Much improved over previous versions, but still impossibly frustrating to use. Navigating from schedule to session to try and see the presenters name/title is obnoxious. App doesn’t work well on even the newest iPhones. For $500 million each conference, the app should be better

Attempting to connect to and download the Fall AGU 2021 event data results in a process that never finishes.

Is ther a scheduler?

This app (when working) appears to be the best so far compared to previous meetings. The way to find exhibitors in map, list, category is great. The way to separate and find oral/poster/workshops was also really easy to use and edit as needed. The main issue (which trickled down to accessibility at times) is the space it required and constant updating. Perhaps some sections can be “opt in” at the time of download? Perhaps the updating (when it happens) can be user-determined? Otherwise, great work. I look forward to the next iteration! Rocío

Gsa app works fine during its meeting. This one is totally unusable on my 6s.

Myself and many I spoke to ended up having to delete the app due to freezing, often related to gigabyte size of memory required to use it.

Continual updating of data makes this app nearly unusable. Load session information, start to scroll through the talk titles, and the app goes off and tries to load data for 15-30 seconds. This makes it aggravating to quickly browse and select talks to see. I spend the sessions with my head down trying to negotiate the app rather than listening fully to talks. The layout and structure of the app is great. It’s just too slow, even with WiFi enabled.

It’s crazy that it takes 4gb storage space and my phone is only 16gb. Good bye:)
