This app is very buggy. Often the accompaniment just doesn't play at all or suddently sustains a note for no apparent reason. And it's very expensive. Maybe future versions will be better. I do not recommend it.
This is a really great accompanist, especially during the Covid pandemic. However, in Messager solo de concours, I noticed that the piano was still running during the cadenza passage, making a distorted sound.
It took 5 minutes to get started, mostly spent hunting down a cable to plug in an external speaker. It followed along with my tempo changes, ignored my mistakes, and nailed its entrance after a cadenza. It is so much fun to play along with. Give it a larger repertoire and it will be just about perfect.
Crashes on login on my updated iPad 2.
19/APR/2020, after the latest update, the app can’t login, once press login, it flashed quit! Need help! My device is iPad mini 2
A bit choppy and difficult to navigate at some times but a must have regardless
This is a follow-up of a previous version that went bankrupt. Now they have relaunched it and enlarged the repertoire. It is really useful for anyone playing a soloist instrument and wishing for an orchestra to follow you. It actually does!! So you play your part and the orchestra listens to you, slows down accelerates... as you do it. It’s really great and I hope the business model works this time!!!
I have no idea how the app works. No metronome, no recording of the solo, no instructions. How do they expect me to use it when there’s no explanation of how to use it?
Well, I got past the sign in. However, there is no piano listed as an instrument. Hopefully this will be fixed as the library expands. I look forward to actually using this app!
