AI Playlist Maker: PlaylistAI

Downloaded this, plugged it into my Spotify account, and tried it out. I asked for a playlist of songs like fred agains “actual life” trilogy. The playlist had a couple disclosure songs (good, same vibe) but most of it was glass animals, Tyler, and tame. Which are all good, but not the same vibe at all Also ofc it’s a subscription

It’s hard to find something that will give you amazing personal preferences. Also, the playlists that this app generates seem to be limited to 30 songs. I’d almost rather use chat gpt and manually transfer the songs at that point.

Do not be stupid and pay for this. The playlists it creates are no better than the current FREE radio station offerings on the app. I know it costs to access ChatGPT but this is pretty much a scam.

I had a error with the app and needed to contact the developer about the air and within minutes he got back to me. he is so nice and I’m not trying to be biased, but the overall experience with PlaylistAI is so good too. Big shout to Brett for helping me with the app.

It’s not very good at generating a playlist using only songs with a similar feel; also, I told it to only use songs that are in my library, which mostly worked, but not completely. I do not like that it requires you to give them your Apple login.

This thing can’t even generate a playlist based on a very general description that specifies instrumental music without vocals. Every time I ask for something like that, it always includes several tracks with vocals. If you can’t do something that simple then It’s LM must be very weak.
