Description

Blur ID - Automatically protect privacy in your photos by blurring avatars, nicknames, names, and faces before sharing on social media. Completely local processing and free to use!
As someone who deeply values privacy, I often need to censor chat screenshots before sharing them with others. Manual censoring is not only time-consuming but also makes images messy with pixelation and color blocks. That's why I created Blur ID.
It can:
- Automatically detect and blur WhatsApp/Messenger/Instagram/Tinder/Bumble avatars, nicknames, faces, and sensitive text with high accuracy. All you need to do is import the image, and it's done. To ensure precise censoring, I manually labeled thousands of samples and trained dozens of model versions to bring you this accurate privacy protection tool.
- Support "Immersive Censoring" - this means replacing avatars and removing text in a way that makes the censoring nearly invisible. This keeps the image clean, and readers' attention stays on the content rather than being distracted by obvious censoring marks.
While I've invested significant effort in optimizing the local model's accuracy and natural censoring effects, there may still be room for improvement. In future versions, I'll continue to focus on enhancing these aspects to provide you with faster and more elegant privacy protection.
