What is AIA Vitality?
AIA Vitality is a personalised, science-backed health and wellbeing program that supports you to make healthier lifestyle choices every day.
Using the principles of behavioural science, AIA Vitality incentivises you to take small steps towards improving your wellbeing and leading a healthier, longer, better life.
For each healthy decision you make, you will be awarded with points that add up to your AIA Vitality status, giving you access to great rewards and benefits.
So, the healthier your choices, the more points you'll earn, the higher your status, the greater your rewards.
Engaging with the program
Use this new app to engage with AIA Vitality by syncing your fitness devices and apps, tracking your progress, and enjoying the many rewards and benefits the program has to offer. You can also link Apple Health and upload activity data to earn AIA Vitality Points. AIA Vitality uses data from the Apple Health app with your permission. You can choose to allow Steps, Workouts, Heart Rate, Mindful Minutes or Sleep data to be shared to earn AIA Vitality Points.

Amazing app
Easy to use and a great incentive to stay healthy
Load of rubbish
I have a watch deal with the insurer and it does not sync with the watch readily and as such I loose money. A total waste of time. Also I’m the day and age of being paperless; the fact that you have to download forms to offer to doctors etc to confirm that I’ve being for a check-up is ridiculous
App gets worse and worse
App cannot sync with Apple Health. Has been like this for years but is now even worse than ever. AIA no longer cares about the vitality program, clearly no funding allocated to it or the app development anymore and just left to rot. Program doesn’t work and becoming pointless
Still bad and frustrating
After four years of telling AIA Vitality that the app is terrible at synching data from Apple Health, nothing has changed. Even my cheap scale has an app that synchs immediately. They keep “updating” the app, allegedly fixing bugs, but the biggest bug remains. Truly a pathetic job.
Aia is awesome
Love AIA keeps me working on my health and encourages me to get my health check ups
Poor app backed up by poor service.
App continually fails to integrate with Fitbit and Garmin. Onus is on user to manually provide screenshots of activities recorded in those apps if you wish to have points applied. Customer service team has five days to review your request and if they agree there then pass it onto the technical team which has a further five days to make good on any any points you’ve lost.
Missing points
Missing points is a pain. It takes weeks to get a reply and you get a vague reply about some thing else and no date reference so you never know what their talking about because it is so long ago
Updates to activity still doesn’t work
Very tedious to use as your activity from Apple devices so tamers days to update and only if you manually go in their everyday and refresh. I have been using this app for more than 3 years and see no improvements in that area
App keeps getting better and better
Well done team , an app that continues to motivate me to live a healthier, better, longer life
