AILA for Parents Reviews

Did they go out of business and not tell us?

Mssoap on

Been trying for awhile to get the app and pairing to work, wont even recognize qr code. Have sone guest mode and even that says my wifi wont connect. I go online and website is non existent like they went out of business

Issues with tablet along with customer service

Salena Rivera on

United States

Our tablet will not connect to our WiFi and I’ve tried just about everything from restarting the tablet to turning it off and on and in saving the WiFi. I’ve tried to reach out to the customer service email which get emailed back that I will get taken care of around 24 hour but never get an email back than trying calling the number provided for it not to ring and immediately drop there no way to contact anyone. It’s frustrating to have all these “nice things said about ailas” but not get a chance to properly use it and only use the broad mode

Love AILA Device

VenusQueen on

United States

I love the device for AILA itself my son is very into it he did break the first one after 2 weeks but AILA did replace it upon receiving the broken one. This one has lasted longer due to stricter use of it he isn’t left unattended and can’t have access to it for more than an hour. But he loves it I have definitely seen him making leaps and bounds of progress even in the 2 weeks he had the first one before breaking it. All this to make my point clear that my issue isn’t with the AILA device itself my issue is with the AILA for parents app as when the AILA device is in broadcast mode I will go to the app to start a learning lesson and it will say the AILA device is offline or turned off and in fact it’s not it will just be in broadcast mode I will try clicking start learning session 3 more times and get the same message prompting me to have to restart the AILA device just so I can actually start the learning session from the app I believe this is something that should be fixed the app should be able to tell that the device is in broadcast mode not offline or turned off. It should not be this difficult to go from broadcast mode to starting a learning lesson. Aside from this AILA is fantastic my son knows his alphabet and walks around saying random letters and the sounds they make— he is speech delayed amongst other things due to his birth so he doesn’t really interact much when prompted to show which bubble has what letter or what leaf or table or hat or guitar etc is a specific color even when I interact with it but I will keep interacting when these questions are asked so that he will see me respond and know that this is what is expected.

QR CODE FAIL

157652 on

My son got this as a Christmas gift. I downloaded the app, and no matter what I do or try it will not link with the QR code. And anyone I’ve emailed or reached out to about the problem either will tell me the same thing I’ve already tried and then just stop responding or they just won’t even answer in the first place. So, thanks for nothing!

Love this app

But why can’t I choose the learning level with the last update? I can’t find it.

The program is not good

Bradrac on

United States

The app looks nice but it's not easy to navigate. The program itself is probably the reason for the difficulty. It's just not good. The app could be the greatest thing ever but the program is a fail. I can get better and more interactive products from a free iPhone app.

Useless

mhawk220 on

United States

This app and tablet are pretty much useless The tablet plays learning videos but child cannot interact so loses interest within 5 seconds of the very first video. Waste of money - i can play videos on my tv i Dont need this “tablet” Cannot skip through videos and has same characters over and over

App continues to sway device is offline when it’s not

Lique3 on

United States

I have removed and re-downloaded the app multiple time. Did all of the firmware updates and says I have the latest version of the app. Have reset device, unpaired and paired device again; multiple times. Then app will say it’s broadcasting, soon as I select start learning session it says device offline, but again the device isnt offline
