Just brilliant
This well-designed app is indispensable if you are based in one of those cities in China that are subject to periodical bouts of heavy pollution. I find the recommended activities under different pollution levels especially helpful and practical. The app also breaks the pollution readings down to regions within cities, making the info a lot more accurate.
Very useful!
Good to have the total score and the individual measurements for PM2.5, PM10, sulphur and nitroxides. The app also updates frequently, which makes it possible to follow pollution levels throughout the day.
Measuring China's air quality
Great to see that they have brought together the US and Chinese measurements. In mid Jan 2013 when the air pollution index in Beijing was in the 700's and officially off the scale the US site still gave the actual reading while the Chinese one was stuck at 500.
Ok, but annoying too
This app is pretty good. Information is fairly well presented, it has a lot of customisation, and several data sources are made available. Let down by a bug (or feature?!) which means that several notifications still come through to the phone, even though they are fully disabled in both the app and Settings!
China air quality
We use this app everyday at school to determine whether children go outside or stay in. Live updates very useful.
Very useful
Have started adjusting my outdoor runs according to pollution readings... Is a relief to avoid the lung choking/gasping experiences for valid reasons !
Great app
I fly into china all the time and find this app very helpful. Because when it comes to your health nothing else is more paramount. Plus a Macau option would be great too.
