Requires the purchase of an $800 device and doesn’t seem to give anywhere near as much info as their Wi-Spy DBx model with the desktop software. Doesn’t feel like they’re supporting this app nearly as much as they should for the price of the Wi-Spy Air!

Requires you to buy 800 dollar accessories to work. That’s not going to happen.

Not sure if this is even possible to use with any other device right now, but I got my Wi-Spy Air on sale instead of the DBx because I was intrigued by the idea of using only my phone. It’s my second day with it and it’s already helped me debug a few problems with my home network. I have a three story house in Chicago so I have all the problems. Band too wide, range too short, non-WiFi interference, rogue IoT devices I forgot I owned, you name it. Really having fun learning to use this thing.

On windows its free and works. Have to buy it on the app store to use, what a joke.

It’s awesome to be able to troubleshoot WiFi problems with my phone. Wi-Spy Air is great!
