This is by far the best switcher app on ipados. Too bad they stopped all support for this app. Now that ipados 17 is out with uvc support, this could be perfect. All it needs is one more update.

I paid money for a working app when it used to be Live:Air, only for these developers to basically abandon that app, create this one and go the ‘subscription model’ route. Now the local recording option on this and the remote app don’t even work. My videos come out blank - this is NOT it…. Update: According to their website, its no longer supported which is why there hasn’t been an update in 9 months….deleting this immediately.

This app is an excellent live switcher for the professional that understands the nuances of live production. I would not recommend it for beginners or casual users. It also appears to be intended for a dedicated producer, rather than someone who is behind the camera and switching at the same time. In future updates, I would like to see... *A streamlined interface for starting/stopping/updating sports timers from the main screen. *A streamlined interface for instant replays.

I have been a Switcher Studio user for almost a year. First day with Airmix Live I had to find a manual/tutorial to figure out how to add a remote camera. This app is not intuitive! Graphics are not out of the box, but after day 2 I will update.

This app can do it all... livestreaming, video production, sound mixing, instant replay, comprehensive color control, project file libraries, HEVC encoding, multi-platform support, extensive camera compatibility... oh man the list just goes on and one. One-of-a-kind for video professionals! Thank-you, Teradek! There are a few tweaks and features this otherwise perfect app is missing: -Add DJI Osmo Mobile remote control via touch. DJI's SDK supports this. Switcher Studio uses it. This would allow solo sportscasters to follow live action from their iPad. -Need Airpods/Airpod Pros Headphone monitoring. Currently the app still uses the mic, not allowing them to be used as headphones only. -Remote Recording Trigger is a must-have. Currently, the remote cam app enables local recording if manually selected on the remote cam itself. Production teams need a way to trigger all cameras simultaneously from the controlling Switcher / Device. -Post-2020 world necessitates a video chat feature. Restream, Switcher, Livestudio, and others offer Video Chat features and this could be huge for AirMix, too, opening the app to a new user base of virtual producers. -The Equaliser is broken. It is missing several octaves (so is the sound visualizer), and there is no ability to control EQ bands or add parametric adjustments. -The compressor is porly configured. It introduces compression artifacts after only a few decibels of loudness reduction. This could be overhauled to provide unparalleled audio control in this software class. -4K Recording on remote cameras would enable film and commercial production groups to fully utilize this app for their businesses. It is worth integrating, and doable with the HEVC and dedicated encoders on modern chips. -The UI is great but in many cases setting do not "stick," or appear to have been applied. The app could be improved by better button optimization and some minor debugging. Thank you so much for creating this incredible product! I can't wait to see where this is headed!

I’ve looked for a professional live streaming app like this for a long time. Teradek has stepped up to the plate to provide professional features to iPhone and more productions, proving that you don’t need a $50k camera package to bring professional results. Great work Teradek! If I could request anything for future updates: -Osmo Mobile Remote Control of Pan/Tilt (DJI SDK Enables it) -AirPods support for audio monitoring -Remote recording trigger. Enable local recording start/stop for remote cameras -Better audio FX for compression, noise gate and eq -Microphone / Audio source selection. Exactly how Filmic Pro enables audio input routing. -Remote guests capture. Think Switcher Studio Video Chat, Ecamm Interview Mode, etc. Some kind of WebRTC client that a video+audio feed can be accessed remotely via a web browser. Multiple guests would be game changing. -4K Recording on remote cameras.

I’ve been searching for a solid iPad compatible streaming app for a while now. No other app gives you the impressive amount of control that Air Mix does. Love the classic switching system as well. 4 stars only because I’m struggling to get video sources to load. Will update review if I can get it working.
