AirPatrol - Smart AC control

Too many login timeout and i have to relogin everyday to manage my ac, please fix that asap its annoying

Used old app for years to remotely control Misubishi mini-split and it work great. Mad the mistake of upgrading. I was hopeful since the new version seems to recognize the unit by point remote control at the airpatrol. Unfortunately it doesn’t successfully send commands to the unit anymore. Ugh.

There are a lot of air-conditioners out there, mini splits, window units, and portables just to name a few. It’s no small chore to have so many configurations preconfigured for you, which enables them to provide an interface that is both useful and pleasant to work with. The portable unit I am using was just released, and I was fearful that I would not find a template that work with it. But after if an email or two to their customer support, I was up and running and could not be more pleased. Their approach to this complex problem is a unique one, and I appreciate the time and effort that must’ve gone into getting all of it ready for prime time. So, kudos to this vendor, and many thanks for a job well done!

The app crashed during the demo within 30 seconds. It also doesn’t have an iPad version which is also 1 start worthy, and more importantly, hasn’t been updated for any device past the iPhone 5, so pretty much hasn’t been updated in the past 4 years.

I bought the AirPatrol WiFi to replace my old GSM based remote control system for our Panasonic NE air heat pump. This app, which controls the AirPatrol unit increased functionality as far as settings on the heating unit compared to my old system. It seems responsive, fast and stable. I have not experienced any loss of connection so far (only a week).

One hiccup I've experienced with AirPatrol since installing in June is they tend to randomly get confused, lose their connection to wifi and/or fail to communicate from my iphone to the AC units. It's not clear if this is a server issue tied to AirPatrol or if I'm having wifi issues in my house. Everything else on my wifi appears to be working when I have this issue.

Good luck getting this thing to connect. I had it working but one day I changed my WiFi network name and had to reset this and that was the end. It is incapable of connecting to my network anymore.

Love controlling my 3 AC from anywhere. At first could not switch between ACs but within 1 hour had a email back from support telling me how.
