Is Akasa Air free?
Yes, Akasa Air is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Akasa Air legit?
⚠️ The Akasa Air app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
I recently had issues with the Akasa Air app. When trying to check in, the process failed multiple times. Eventually, it succeeded for 2 out of 3 passengers, but one passenger was not checked in. I encountered similar problems with add-ons; sometimes the process failed at payment or at other points, making it unpredictable when it would succeed. I did not expect this level of inconsistency from Akasa Air.
Filthy App
Had booked with Akasa for the first time. While trying to retrieve booking through PNR it says Invalid PNR. What a dumb thing to say when Airline itself issuing the PNR and then showing invalid on it's own App.
Also while trying to web check in, mentioned PNR, clicked on Submit button but the page is not going forward.
You need a good App developer. Do not cut cost by hiring some cheap App developers. Invest on your IT section and get this thing updates ASAP.
Don’t travel with Akasa air
I booked ticket from Ahmedabad to mumbai on 8 June and I paid the payment and when I m going to web check in its showing PNR not found and then I call to customer care and he said my payment not credited to my PNR that’s why your ticket is not confirmed. I request all don’t book ticket and don’t travel with akasa air.

Third class app will ruin the name of airlines
Payment deducted but booking not confirmed. Had to book another flight for higher rates because of the delay. Moreover did not receive back the money which was deducted.
SCAM on refund : APP Needs serious Improvements
1) it’s the third time bookings that the online payment is not working in the App and the money is deducted from my Credit card. The ticket is on hold and later cancelled. When we call the customer care they simply say to rebook but no solution on the refund.
When we try to book second time the fares have gone up.
2) the saved members data saved is not reflected while adding passengers data.
Very bad
We are 3 friends together, they changed our seat ever after issuing boarding pass… and they separated all of us…. Very bad experience……

I am writing this review highliting an pathetic experience from Akasa air in terms of refund. I have booked a flight ticket , payment is done but ticket was not booked even I shared the screen shot with concerned customer care team and they promised they will refund the amount in 5 - 7 days time but
now it’s close to a month , such an horrible experience from such an pathetic airlines
