Good journal app but..

gwendydd_ on

I like how they provide you with a personal mix of journal prompts and articles according to what you're feeling during the check-in but there's not enough options for the emotions - in my opinion. And sometimes I am feeling more than one emotion, which is often a mix of positive and negative, even though I am generally okay - making it difficult for me to just classify them into one. Plus, you really can't get much without paying so it's sad for students like me

Jour makes it easy to start your day with meditation

Soniahime on

Jour is easy to use and navigate, and has simple but important questions. Using Jour is like taking a pause and a breather, to redirect you again where you really need to be. A great app that works well, makes me feel good for using it and checking in on myself. I recommend this app esp for people who are overwhelmed, anxious, or stressed out. The first question is always a prompt for you to check in on yourself.

Personal.

There will be times when we do not want to share anyone about what we’ve done or experience in a day, mostly the devastating days... it’s nice for this app to ask such personal questions that would let you write what you really have in mind and how you really feel by not judging you or telling you what to do. I want to experience the premium part of this app but just can’t afford. So trial/ free version is ok.

Great journaling app but could use some bug fixes

bluavocado on

I’ve been journaling on and off now for about three years on various platforms—a physical journal, 750words, and the Notes app on my iPhone. I haven’t journaled for three months before I picked up Jour again, and now I’ve been journaling consecutively for a week. I really appreciate the prompts and the clean, no-frills interface of the app. However, I would appreciate some bug fixes. When I scrolled back through my entries, I noticed I have days where my answer to the second prompt is an exact copy of the first, when of course they were different when I wrote them down. Hope this can be addressed in the next update.
