iPod functionality!
On iPods, we could shuffle by song OR BY ALBUM. For whatever reason, iPhones have never been able to do this in the stock app. This app lets you shuffle by album: it will pick a random album, play it in its track order, then pick another random album, and so on. Optionally, you can set it to skip to the next random album if you skip two tracks in a row (something iPods couldn’t do). I only have a few small issues with this app. One is that it doesn’t always remember where you left off (my iPods do this even if powered off for weeks). The other is that scrolling through a huge library takes a while, as there is no alphabetical or other scroll bar on the side.
