Best player for music fans
The best music player I have ever used - and I’ve been playing mp3s since 1998. And keeps getting better. I hope Apple fixes their API so I can have it on MacOS.

This app is brilliant
The app is OK but the subscription price is ridiculous for what it offers. The main thing I want is to filter so it only shows full albums and not singles or albums I only have a few songs. For this you have to pay an expensive subscription. I ended up getting an app called Longplay that does just this for a reasonable, pay once, price.
And it keeps getting better and better.
The interface is significantly better than the AM one. Library management, filters and stats are amazing! Widget is significantly better than AM as well. This is seriously an amazing app for anyone using AM and is well worth the cost!
I prefer to listen to albums that I own. Steaming services focus on discovering music more than they do the library which has it place but when driving etc I prefer to just go. I want to listen to that album. Would be good if this could integrate Qobuz or Tidal albums that have been added to their respective libraries in one master list.
I find that with Apple Music the overriding feeling is of a constant drive to “discover” new music, and also to listen to radio stations. All of which is great, but occasionally you want to dig into the albums that made you live music in the first place. Albums is a perfect way to immerse yourself in the grandeur of a full album: experience the emotional journey as the artist takes you through their creation. Shuffle albums let’s you listen to those albums that you might flip past when you’re browsing through your library. All in all, Albums is great, and great value for money.
