Downloaded this game again, unfortunately it does not open and crashes the moment it is started up…

"Great Game
Great concept and interesting game. Only negative thing I have noticed in the short time I have played this new version is that the ‘void’ where you discard elements is literally right next to where items spawn in when you click them. This means when you drag another item on top if you are not accurate it will be deleted in the void. This issue could be easily resolved by simply spawning in items slightly left and down from the void instead of right next to it. Other than that really great classic game, runs well no crashes so far. 5/5" - by Brendansw1

Not all the combinations seem logical to me, but I don't think this is a disadvantage. Sometimes you just need to think outside the box to create new elements. This is the puzzle, not a chemistry textbook.

Brilliant little game - such a simple concept but so amusing. Maybe if there's an upgrade people can suggest their own "combinations", there's quite a few I can think of :)

de originele versie ken ik niet dus daarom vind ik dit ook geen slechte versie. ook al mag er iets aan de graphics gedaan worden... BTW, probeer eens ASH + LIFE dan krijg je iets heel leuks!
Valt tegen
(Omdat de vorige recensie verdween) De vormgeving van het spel is erg matig, en dan ben ik nog gul. Hetzelfde kan gezegd worden van de muziek, die bovendien afleidend is en snel op de zenuwen gaat werken. De besturing is ondoordacht: zodra je een nieuw element ontdekt wordt die toegevoegd aan een horizontale scrollbar aan de bovenkant van het scherm. Deze scrollbar heeft ruimte om slechts een klein aantal elementen tegelijkertijd op het scherm weer te geven, waardoor deze moeilijk te navigeren is en al snel overvol raakt. Deze versie van Alchemy is er één die erg hard zijn best doet om niet al te veel op de "originele" Alchemy te lijken en er daarom voor kiest niet alle besturingselementen te kopiëren, iets wat het misschien beter wel had kunnen doen. Dat een spel een duidelijke rip-off is van iets anders is iets wat ik kan tolereren, maar dit is beneden de maat.
