A meaningful way to look at Torah and commandments
Great Torah insights presented in a way that keeps the whole family interested in learning. The animations make the learning painless for the youngsters and they remember the educational content as if it was told by Moses himself.
The best stuff on Earth!!!
I have been a long time listener to the free content and have always loved the take / interpretation/ visuals of the Hebrew as I learn. I finally subscribed and only wish it would’ve done it sooner!
Content is amazing, app is glitchy sometimes. Some of the video links do t work. Still the best Hebrew content out there.
Unable to reinstall after it got stuck “loading” for more than 12 hours. Also stops every 3 minutes to ask for donations even when you are a member signed in. More exhausting than the fast that starts Sunday.
AlephBeta has been a game changer for me. I only wish I had stumbled across it much sooner. They should partner with other apps that are in the culture and have prominent Jews leading them to market, so more people will be exposed to this amazing content (i.e. PragerU). A few features are missing that bring the app to a 4/5 for me but this in no way should deter anyone from downloading it immediately: 1. Ability to mark a video as “complete” and that completion to be reflected everywhere that video or podcast is shown throughout the app. Sometimes videos don’t reflect you’ve watched them, and they don’t always show you’ve watched the video everywhere it can be found 2. Ability to favorite videos 3. Add to watchlist - if you find something now you want to remember to watch later 4. Currently watching, so if you’re in the middle of a series and have to stop, you can pick back up and finish the series / collection 5. Publish date 6. Auto-play toggle off/on 7. Sometimes videos are mentioned as being “linked below” and they aren’t
Ok, so alef beta is one of the best apps on my phone! The only problem is that Most of the speakers are kind of liberal, like very liberal and every dvar Torah is a political rant. Like the Tzom gedalia one 🙄 but rabbi Forman is amazing!!!! My mom listens to him every Friday when she’s cooking and gives us the dvar Torah on Shabbos!!!!!😀😀😀
The teaching is amazing and easy to understand. The Torah comes alive in the lessons
This app is incredible! A God send really. As someone who has been on this journey for a decade and finally my conversion is June 11th 2021. This app has been instrumental in my growth and knowledge into Judaism ✡️ I love doing the premium subscription it’s worth every single dime. I’d donate even more if I had the funds. How impactful this app has been for me and my growth. I will be leaving till the day I die and this app will forever be a part of my learning. Love the knowledge and understanding every pharcha each week. I emailed them and the responds was immediate and so kind and grateful in the response. I feel like I know Rabbi Forman as much as I hear his kind voice. Thank you keep the incredible work up! Anne Marie (Mine) Martin 🇮🇱✡️🇮🇱✡️🇮🇱✡️🇮🇱✡️
