The text is too small and there is no option to increase its size. The example words and sound files often don’t play and the user has to skip through t the next part of the lesson without actually hearing or seeing the word.
It would be a five star app, but the lesson reminder notifications do not work for me. I’ve lost long streaks before just because I forgot. I have notifications set on (both in app and in my settings) but I have never received one before
I’m a complete beginner to Arabic, and I’ve been finding the app very helpful to learn the alphabet. I’m 2 weeks in and my only real complaint about the lessons are that the English pronunciation examples are often inaccurate (“Sa as in sand” when the letter is pronounced “seh”). The voice recordings mostly make up for this, though. The biggest issue is that the app takes forever to load and keeps crashing, even on wifi. Also, it doesn’t tell you up front that only the first few lessons are free. Still better than Duolingo’s intro Arabic.
This app is a great resource while trying to learn Arabic! I rated 4 instead of 5 comes for two reasons. The first is that the app moves a bit slow from page to page, almost like it’s lagging. The second reason is that there’s no option to make text bigger. Some of the text, like the written explanations, are a pretty good size, but the characters on the “buttons” you click and/or drag to answer questions can be quite small. Other than that, this app is amazing!!
This app is amazing but there are some characters I can’t read so I have to screenshot and zoom in to understand what I’m looking at. I have noticed a few glitches but if I quit the app and come back in it’s resolved. If y’all fix the size of the font or can tell me how to do that in settings this would be five stars. The way they course is styled is exactly what I’m looking for.
this is a very intrusive app for learning Arabic, as it is intended, of course. The thing that bothers me though is that it still doesn’t support landscape mode on iPadOS, whereas Duolingo does. If it integrates landscape mode into the iOS app for iPad, my rating would immediately change to five stars.
The app is a very great resource, but I’m having trouble accessing my profile as it resets the app completely for some reason, I do plan on using this in the future but please take the time to fix these problems.
Best app there is for learning Arabic. Some of their questions/quizzes are annoying but you can skip and move to whatever module you want. Other apps won’t let you advance til you complete each question. Great vocab builder it’s worth every penny!
I have studied at least six languages. And this is by far the best app. The Arabic alphabet is difficult, but this app lets you glide right through it.
