The best (for me) app for listening American English. They give you grammar and modern vocab while inserting American life with fun.Their voices are clear so you can listen to them and do other things too (i.e. showering). Moreover, they provide the real time transcripts with the big font and the meaning of interesting word that you can save it for your own favorite words. Thank you Lindsay, Michelle, Jessica, Aubrey and all crews for this amazing app. Happy New Year 2021. :)

Review from a 3ish-year-listener from Thailand

First of all i would like to thank you to three of you!! I first started listening to your podcasts since 2016 on the episode around 200 talking about the word ‘literally’ and that’s very transformative for me! I changed my life of learning english i just wanna say thank you to that. I love how you show us tons of real english usages we cant find in textbook. Here’s what i want to know more about : the word “essentially” since I’m a thai teacher i get to work with american students all the time and I’ve been hearing this word everywhere and i kinda know the meaning but I’m just not very sure about it. I hope you can help me figure that out and it can be very helpful to others who want to sound native too! Thank you <33

Hi! I am Kamol from Thailand. First of all, I would like to thank you for very awesome podcast ever. It’s almost a year that I listen your podcast when I go to work every day. My listening skill is much better :)) Anyway, I would like to ask a question from you. What do “would and could” mean exactly in the question sentence. It is like a question tag or just the polite request or question about the past. I’m so confused. Hope that you guys could help me on this. Look forward to hearing the answer on the podcast. Thank you in advance :))

It’s kind of super useful if you’re trying to be such a natural speaker in English just like me. 😁

Hi All, I am Matt from Thailand and am an English teacher like you guys but graduating in non-native English speaking country like Thailand still needs me to improve the English skills constantly. I could say that one of my English practice strategy is to imitate the words or expressions from native people, especially from you guys in this app. I love to impersonate the spoken words from you guys, and I have no doubt that you guys speak English naturally. I could make a copy every single words until my colleagues say that I could speak English like Natives...Oh my gosh 😆😆😆😆. Thanks to Lindsay, Michelle and Jessica. Keep up the good and cool works. Oh, by the way, I’d like to ask a question. Are there any words or phrases that I can use instead of “by the way” to introduce another topic when we talk? iMatt from Thailand.

Definitely worth listening for people aim to improve skills and be more confidence.

Say hi from Thailand It’s been a year or more listening to your podcasts. Obviously, I could see how much efforts you putting in them and that might be the reason why I’m still playing this. Even exercising, rather than shuffling through motivated musics, I always find myself engaging in your helpful podcast. Thanks :)

Congrats

Hi I'm Aof Siwanon from Thailand. I have a question. I am currently studying English in newspapers. So I was wondering if you use headline words (which is short) in everyday communication. Such headlines words as nab for arrest or row for argument. Or They are like a normal word that we can opt to use in day-to-day conversation. Thx so much.
