I have found no alternative to Xodo’s reflow mode. It is outstanding. However, annotations in reader mode are behind paywall, which is way beyond what I can afford for this feature. So have your five stars for great work. But please consider making these features in free or separate less expensive package.
Xodo could be the best anotator out there but their bugs really let it down, i think these are very easy bug fixes too. - when using the xodo pen, it tends to select the previous text you wrote and in large it, then you have to click off to cancel it - the buffer where your annotation is being confirmed, i.e low opacity just after writing needs to be removed, there is no point of this it just makes everything slow - why can't we have delete entire scribble with eraser, every anotator app has this - sometimes the xodo pen will go to a random colour not even on your toolbar if these are fixed it could be a great app
Amazing PDF editor, cloud sync, also available on PC, if you want a solid PDF editor this is the way to go! AND ITS FREE
All the annotations that have been made is gone when the pdf file is opened with another app. I did not notice it after my lecturer called me at night that I have handed in an empty assignments answer sheet. All the annotations is all good when we open it with Xodo but not in other app. I have to export the file several times to make a new copy until it is perfect. Sometimes some of the merged pages from another pdf are missing, specially after do the “edit pages”.
I had high hopes for Xodo based on its simple UI design and the fact that its app size is about 50% smaller than Foxit. Unfortunately, within ten minutes of use, I encountered black squares issues twice when trying to highlight text on the pdf. Even after completely closing and reopening the app, the issue persisted. It’s frustrating to deal with such a basic functionality issue. Disappointed, as I was hoping for a more reliable alternative.
Always crashing, losing progress with no save option. I’ve even subscribed, thinking that might help. Same outcome. Does not matter.
STOP UPDATING THE APP! Anytime yall push out an update it just gets worse and worse! Just give up at this point yall clearly can’t figure out how to run an app! It was somewhat usable a few months ago now if you click on anything it deletes the whole PDF! What an absolute joke of an app
I have had the app for 2 years. It’s SO GLITCHY. Takes a while to load on a iPad M2 processor. You will lose work when typing and have to start all over again. Such a head ache “free app”. Don’t do it.
I liked this app until I experienced a really annoying bug which is when I change some tabs or between apps my recent annotations suddenly disappears. I hope that in future updates this matters will resolve.
