Allegion ENGAGE Reviews

Credential Enrollment Timeout

NickAWood on

The app will not let me add new credentials to any of my locks. Waste of $5000 on these stupid locks.

Horrible system

Pablo A Crespo on

We have had nothing but nightmares. This software for key fobs worked good at first then they mentioned that they have a paid software that works better. Syncing is an issue, key fobs suddenly stop working, they pick up the phones for tech support but everyone has a different approach of find a solution that does nothing.

Garbage

App and lock continue to go bad or don’t sync whoever designed these two things needs to get fired

Fix your app so I can do my job.

Fix your app so I can do my job. This is the most frustrating thing. The app crashes 99% of the time when I try to use it.

Bad

tjmac00 on

Unfortunately this is probably the worst security/fob system I could possibly imagine. If you’re looking for remote access control this is not the system you should invest in. Everything you do with this system requires you to physically be on sight at each reader to sync the system for every single change made.

Horrible

This app is horrible. It continues to crash every time I open it. Fix this issue so that your clients can use what they pay for.

Crashes When You Try to Delete a Device

mac10@UC on

United States

Crashes every time I try to delete a Unit to turn it over to the building owner after the last update. Was already a weirdly unintuitive software and this is the final straw to make me hate having to use this app. Why this is the software that comes with a standard entry door spec is beyond me.

Doesn’t work with iPhone 15 update

Princess Jerri on

Ever since updating I cannot use the app it just says “not connected to wifi or SSID”, which is insane. I’m connected to wifi and using all other apps with no issue. Absolutely awful!

Easy Enough

Shelbs519 on

It isn’t the best and most user friendly software. I have it for a business and it’s worked for the last 5 years. We are constantly having to reprogram fobs with employees interchanging. Batteries are having to be changed out every few months but it’s understandable as we have employees going in and out of these doors constantly, every day all day. We have locks on the doors too so if a battery does go out, we can get in and change them out. My only complaint is how long it takes when reprogramming. It doesn’t always work so it’s a constant battle of deleting cookies, closing the app, logging back in and trying again. Sometimes I have to do that process 3 or 4 times before I can get a fob to connect and reprogram. I usually have to set aside a few hours to program a small handful of fobs on 3 doors.

How bad can it get. - very bad

7-2021 has these locks. They were fair. Got the new one. It is the worst. They say “no need to return to store”. Big need to return to store
