Alloy Tasks and To Do

Dear reader, I discovered this app some years ago when I was in stress city managing too many projects. While it didn't make me instantly more productive the fabulous organising capabilities of this app helped me understand that I was doing too much and what I really needed was a year off work. Which I took - stress all gone! Best features - folders to classify, checklists to aggregate tasks, filtering and my current favourite, the pause button - I've got some "bucket list" folders with undated tasks and with one click they're magically taken out of the task list. Brilliant. I'll admit to flirting with other apps that seem to rank higher in searches, but I've yet to find one that has the flexibility of Lifenotes.

Mr Stone provides patient support for dumb blondes and seniors (yes I am both). Language and logic of app does not need PhD in computers to understand. WiFi synch seems almost instantaneous when I open ipad or iPod. Very useful for ED doctor always on the move, ipod in pocket, ipad for meetings.

I have downloaded a number of apps to help me organise myself in the past. This is by far the best! I have many different areas of my life that need organising. I homeschool, we have a small farm to run, I look after the household, I help my partner with his business and I have my own personal goals etc. This app lets me break all of these areas of my life into practical folders. I LOVE the list capabilities! I can keep track of everything in the one spot and I love it!

I have used several tools before ... but this one takes the case. As a consultant with many clients it is a fantastic tool for keeping things in place, the notes and setting deadlines function is part helpful. No hesitations in recommending it. Cheers, delighted customer

The only app that delivers what it says. Support is quick and helpful when needed. I would like to change the default time on the reminder function but haven't seen if possible. However, this is the only app that has done what I need and done it simplistically and without crashing!!!

Simple, easy to use, intuitive. Keeps me on track across multiple complex projects. Great to take to project meetings add to do's throughout the meetings so that i rarely have to make further notes after the meeting. It's a great prioritizing matrix when working in the office too.

I did a lot of searching for an app that would allow me to think and plan projects a bit like Onenote and also properly organize the tasks a bit like Omnifocus. This does exactly that at a very reasonable price. The approach is intuitive, exactly how I would arrange things in a paper and file world, yet powerful, integrating a smart task management list that cuts across all projects. On top of that it painlessly syncs between my iPad and iPhone. I was surprised that the best alternatives I looked at didn't have this available or requires the purchase of separate apps or indeed required a mac running yet another program. For anyone trying to manage multiple projects wanting to keep associated notes, lists and tasks organized, particularly in a very GTD way, I cannot recommend this highly enough.

After researching a fair few to do apps I chose this one because it included both iPad and iPhone customized displays, synced tasks between the devices and ticked all the requirements for good to do management. After using it for a few weeks it has continued to meet all my expectations and works as advertised. There are a few minor improvements such as international date format that would improve the app. Noting that, the app author is receptive to feedback and the incremental updates continue to refine the app. I recommended this app to a friend who is planning her wedding, moving into a new house and managing a complex consulting engagement. This app also hit the spot for her to get her life under control. In summary this is a very good app for both the iPhone and iPad, worthy of the price if you own either, and especially worth it if you own both and want a common view of your tasks.

Much more usable with the bugs fixed. This task manager I think could have a good future. I own about 10 task apps and for what I use task apps for (stores/production) is getting as good as 2Do and AwesomeNote at using tasks for production control where I need tasks with non task information with ease of use.
