Description

Our San Jose music school was founded in 1995 with the goal of providing quality fine arts education to the children and adults of the San Francisco Bay Area. Almaden School of Music and Art merged with David K’s Music School, Inc in October of 2004 to become one of the largest independent fine arts schools in the area. Our staff of over 50 instructors includes some of the most highly qualified local music, art and foreign language professionals. Our teachers have degrees in their fields: Bachelor’s, Master’s Degrees or Ph.D.’s complemented by many years of performance and teaching experience.
Our commitment: To provide the highest quality fine arts instruction to every student.

Classes meet weekly for 30, 45 or 60 minutes. New Students are assigned an instructor based on age, prior experience, special requests and, of course, availability.
Compatibility between instructor and student in a 1:1 setting is essential for optimizing a student’s motivation as well as the return on investment.
Our friendly, well-informed Receptionists are adept at determining appropriate placement within our teaching staff and we encourage students to share any special requests or concerns they may have when registering.
Need help preparing for an audition? Tell our receptionists when you register. Many of our students perform in various orchestras in the Bay Area. We are here to help you prepare to meet your individual goals.
Prospective students are encouraged to drop by the school to view our facilities and ask questions. If you are an art lover, the school walls are filled with artwork from many of our students.
If you are not sure your youngster is ready for individual lessons, we can arrange a trial lesson to assess readiness. See our tuition policy for trial lesson rates.
To enroll in the school, you may call at (408) 267-3651 or (408) 267-3659 and sign up over phone or visit either of our locations, complete an enrollment application form, pay tuition and registration fees and you are ready to go.
Whether your goals are professional career enhancement, personal enrichment, or fulfillment of a dream, students of all abilities and all ages are welcome.
