AL-NENA 911 is an interactive mobile app designed to assist the citizens and visitors of Alabama before, during, and after an emergency or disaster whether natural or manmade. It contains contact information for our team, our member content, upcoming events, conference information, app store content, and more.
AL-NENA is the Alabama Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association and is 524 members strong.
The National Emergency Number Association (NENA) is a professional association for those involved in providing 9-1-1 service. This includes police, fire, EMS providers, 9-1-1 managers and board members, telephone company employees, and members of commercial firms that sell goods and services to the 9-1-1 industry. NENA is a non-profit association whose mission is to foster the technological advancement, availability and implementation of a universal emergency telephone number system. In carrying out this mission, NENA promotes research, planning, training, and education. The protection of human life, the preservation of property and the maintenance of general community security are among NENA’s objectives.

Great Job

Great Jon on the app. Very convenient to have the schedule and details at your fingertips. Alerts were helpful as well. Only alert I would have liked to have seen was one announcing the names being called for the door prizes. Other than that, it worked very well.
