ALO FAQ
Is ALO free?
Yes, ALO is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is ALO legit?
🤔 The ALO app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Why isn’t there a Canadian online shopping app with transparent pricing? Hidden duties and currency conversion add over 30%, making it more expensive than shopping directly at Canadian stores.
This wasn’t clear until I visited a store and learned about it from the staff.
It’s frustrating that a high-end brand with multiple Canadian locations doesn’t offer online prices matching its in-store pricing.
While I enjoy the clothes and browsing in-store, I won’t use the app until this changes.
Best way to shop Alo
Very user friendly and easy to navigate, I love shopping through the app.
The Crew Neck Accolade Sweater
This very overpriced crew neck sweat shirt is the poorest quality material I have ever owned. There is so much pilling after very light wear and only 2 washes that were washed according to the website’s recommendations. I hope they give me my money back! Or I’ve been taken advantage of with this poor quality product. Lululemon would definitely stand behind their products.
Order status not accurate
My order says fulfilled. Meanwhile they haven’t even got it to shipper yet. The phone number listed for customer service is not accurate (or it falls dead when you choose the number to proceed)
My favorite store
I love everything about Alo. The style, the quality, the fit, the great customer service and easy return policy.
App is terrible
Won’t allow me to place an order. Tried visa, visa debit, Mastercard. Called the bank, created three different accounts. Still nothing.
Discrepancy in Pricing: App vs. Store Experience- FAKE!
I’ve been a loyal Alo customer for years, always shopping through their app. However, I recently visited their store and discovered that prices are significantly lower in-store compared to the app—around 30% less. This discrepancy is shocking and disappointing. I was informed in the store that the app’s pricing is based on the US market, but this was never made clear. It’s frustrating to see such a stark difference in pricing by region. As a customer in Canada, it feels like I’m being penalized for using the app. This lack of transparency and respect for customers who trust the brand is unacceptable.
Horrible customer service!
The customer service and support team for this app is horrible.
I tried contacting them about a missing item on my order. Every time I got connected with an agent and explained the situation, they would ask for my order number and then immediately disconnected the chat.
This was clearly intentional as they seemed to not want to answer my question regarding the missing item.
This looks really bad on the Alo team.
Fix already please! It’s been over a year!
Although not an App issue please fix the “There was a problem updating your preferences” when trying to unsubscribe from their marketing emails. I’m being emailed into oblivion. There’s no way to unsubscribe from it which is now becoming quite annoying.
In love with the quality, colors and design
I’m a yoga teacher, and I have tried different clothing, but nothing suits me better than Alo. I know it’s a little more expensive than other brands, but for me, it’s about quality, colours and design. I purchased clothes after COVID-19, and I’m still wearing them without any problems or changes. The colour and the fabric are still the same as when I bought them.
My students always asked me about my clothes, and I just replied: - It’s ALO 🖤🤍
Please consider bringing the program back. I’m looking forward to applying, but I am still waiting, it said early 2024, and we are in April already. I'm just wondering how long it will take to reopen the program, please. A little appreciation back to your loyal customers is always a win-to-win relationship
