Amana Home

The unit works, but would be great to see a summary of how long it’s been running. My nest system for the other zone of the house outpaces Amana in this capacity. Would also be great to add to HomeKit or Google home. It’s needed.

It's been more than a year so far running great and no issues.

I have downloaded and installed the Amana Home app to my iPhone and to my wife's as well. But it does not appear that it is possible to set up a separate Amana Home account for my wife with her own email and connect to our thermostat. As a result in order to control the Amana HVAC with her iPhone, she must log in with my credentials. If I have the geofence feature turned on and I leave the house to run to the store (or worse if I leave on an extended trip) then the geofence detects that I am away and turns the HVAC to AWAY. If my wife remains at home, obviously she needs the HVAC to remain in the At Home setting. This is not a very smart app. Please fix this app to detect when multiple household members are away and only switch to AWAY when all household members are detected outside of the geofence range. If I am missing something here, then please update your app’s documentation to state clearly how this situation can be avoided and resolved. I am an app developer myself so I think I know where to look for this kind of thing.

We had a Nest prior and really enjoyed the weather summary screen that would display as you walked by. This Amana one you have to tap into a few screens to get to that info. If they were able to update the default screen to always show the indoor and outdoor weather and conditions, I’d rate this 5 stars. I hope they’re listening!!

Needs major upgrade to connect to Alexa and Google Home devices. Ridiculous it doesn’t for the money.

Love our new Amana HVAC system. It’s very quiet and we haven’t had the problem with ice buildup on our sidelight windows. Love having the app on my phone!

Love this app! I can power off my system, change from heat to air, and check the air quality. Oh that’s right, I can also change the temperature.

You need to push notifications when equipment isn’t working. I shouldn’t have to log in to find out my house is below set point.

I don’t use Alexa or Google Assistant, could there be an Apple HomeKit integration in the future?

I upgraded my central air unit and my furnace and with the installation of a new high tech thermostat and I can’t even control it from my phone like I use to with my old one through nest. This isn’t an upgrade to me
