Freezing
The app seems to freeze up quite a bit anytime I click the + button next to a contact. Thankfully the reminders work well!

i bought this app because i wanted to track the intersection of personal relationships and their connection to other people. this app combines the notes app, contacts app, and the reminders app into one but does not provide the value advertised. i bought a lifetime membership from the impression it was what i was looking for but was unable to get a refund when i came to understand its simplicity. as is, i don’t see myself using this app for the basic functionality it provides
I’m so happy Amato exists! It’s basically like a CRM for friendships. :) I have inattentive ADHD and creating systems that help me keep on top of relationships is crucial for me. This app lets me do just that. I now have granular control over how often I need to be reminded to reach out, as well as a place to jot down notes about interactions that then serve as breadcrumbs to pick up where I left off. It takes a while to import your contacts and most recent interactions for the first time, but once that’s done you just have to follow the notifications and set aside a couple of min at the end of the day to update the app with the people you connected with. I have already become so much more of a “people person” since starting to use Amato. Highly recommend to all neurodivergent folks out there that want to prioritize quality relationships! And the developer has been super kind and receptive to suggestions :)
Just starting to use Amato. I really find it helpful for staying close to far-flung people in my life, some thing that is difficult to maintain.
