Amazon Chime

In case I want to show a Quip etc. would like to have screen share option for iOS devices.

The most recent update is very well done! However dark mode is missing. It’s really necessary to have a dark mode function for this app. Also a function like unsend message would be very handy!

Chime is a great platform for enterprise messaging and calling, but the IOS client misses a couple of features that would make it a 5-star review: - The ability to share screen/content. Has been possible in IOS for a while (via screen recording) and most other conferencing clients (such as Skype) are able to do so now. - Support for slide over / split screen. I want to be able to look at screens shared through Chime _and_ do other stuff at the same time! Again, other clients all have this functionality.

I am CEO of an AWS partner. I use Chime On my iPhone all day. For months now the app cuts off the typing box so a user cannot see what I am typing. AWS Please fix this. All your mobile users are fed up.

I just got a notification for a meeting even though it’s disabled both in the app settings and in iPhone settings. Not sure how they got around it but don’t trust Amazon! Uninstalling

Overall, like the title says, it’s not a terrible app. However my issues are with the build quality and integration with bigger phones, such as the 14 pro max. Biggest issue I have is when I get a chime notification within the app, it obviously shows at the top. However, with the dynamic island of the pro max, it is hard to read the notification as it doesn’t drop down far enough. If that could be addressed/fixed, it would make the app a lot better.

I still cannot believe that Amazon hasn’t deleted this app altogether on the App Store and moved itself over to Google meets or zoom. This is a case study and bad user experience and design. It’s impossible to use and you’re constantly confused about the interface if I could give it zero stars, I would.

I can’t see the words I am typing on my iPhone because the text box is cut off by the word suggestions from my default iPhone keyboard. I am using iPhone 14 pro.

As an Amazon employee with from my own opinion, this is a terrible app.

It would be awesome if I would get push notifications for group chats even if I don’t get tagged. I find myself constantly logging in to check for chat updates so I don’t miss anything. Thanks
