Awesome project, deserves a better app.

I love this app in many ways, but it’s not helpful when I need something to play without being in the app. It’s basically useless unless you are sitting in the app and don’t let your phone sleep ever. I really wish they’d work on that feature.

I write reviews once in a blue moon, seriously, but it needs to be said; please update this. Such a good app. But now you can't exit the app, or even the website, without the audio stopping. I'd like to use it for background noise but can't. It seems like it's been going on for a while by the reviews. Please listen to the reviews.

I used this app for years and it was great. Around the iOS 15 update, suddenly it only worked with the app open and my phone unlocked. Canceled my subscription and sent an email at the time, recieved a response that it would be looked into. That was at least a year ago now and the issue seems to not have been resolved. Loved ambient mixer for a long time, as it was the only thing that made me fall asleep regularly. Sad to have lost something I loved so much.

So this app works really well for creating ambient sounds for our DND games. It can be a little rough to use at times (and feels a little archaic in its design) but it gets the job done…and better than most. You have a lot of control over every sound you use to set the scene. The flirty bar maiden a little too loud in the back…just turn her down and say how often you want to hear her. BUT, I paid for a monthly subscription to their premium service. Everything seems great except I still get ads. And they aren’t even in English 🙄. I want this fixed please.

Now I can’t like or favorite anything anymore. It keeps forcing me to edit the thing in listentiong to instead of tea the description or liking it. I also can’t listen to it outside of the app like other songs elsewhere 😒

The entire point of this app is to turn it on and then use your phone for other things. The fact that it only plays while the app is active makes it worthless. When fixed, this will become a 5 star review

I love the tracks but because it won’t play with the screen locked I barely use it. I’d love to use the track while laying in bed but can’t leave the screen on the entire time. Hopefully this issue will be resolved in an upcoming update?

Web version is great. You get all of the same features of the web version in the app, but it will not play the audio if your screen is locked. :/

Used for a long time. Studying, sleeping, you name it. It’s unusable now. I have to be in the app or the sound won’t play. My phone has to be on or it won’t play. Two issues I have NEVER had with this app before. I’m bummed. It’s ruined. There’s practically no point in me having the app at all anymore, it’s a shame.
