Could be better

App demand too many info, does not work very good. But do the job when in need.

Find a different charging network

Ravi the oil on

Canada

1. Poor App design. Unintuitive mess. 2. Takes way too much data from the user. Says it’s for security but it’s just to take as much data from you as possible. You see it time and time again. 3. Doesn’t even read charge data from charger. It’s only good for starting a charger if it works. Just find a ChargePoint charger anywhere else. This is such a mess. It almost feels like I shouldn’t even plug my car using these devices.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD- App locks up funds

Andrii Soroka on

Canada

After deleting the account this company continues to charge the credit card. You can’t use the funds on the platform.

App crashes

Kenil7 on

Canada

It crashes when I try to open the app. I have in-app balance of about 30-35$ but I cannot use it as app will not open.

Data harvesting

Rguptaca on

Canada

This app requires your name, email address and phone number. None of which are required to charge a vehicle. As long as I load money onto the account there is no need to know anything else about me. You can give a fake name but they send a verification code to the email address and another to the cell phone number. All of this before I even know how much the charges cost and have decided to use them.

*****EXPENSIVE******

parthpy on

Canada

They charge over 3$ an hour for 45km/hour charging speed.

Terrible!

Sspanjers on

Canada

This entire eco-system is garbage. Creating an account sucks (you have to give so much data). 2fa for email AND text is also dumb. Obviously just a contact harvesting device. Adding cards is terrible, and they have no knowledge of when a charger is down/unresponsive.

Poor first app experience

SFG1969 on

Canada

This app is poorly designed. The download process and steps to set up your profile, including adding a payment method is very poor. I wonder who tested this app. The charging experience is a little uneven. Seems like you may have to try a couple times to get it to engage.
