Download the official app from the museum itself. It’s free, works well, and doesn’t try and swindle you with in-app purchases that do nothing.

Don’t waste your money on the in-app purchase. I paid to get access to tours and audio guides at the American Museum for Natural History and except for some very generic texts I did not get anything, no augmented reality, no audio guides. Waste of money.

Every single thing I clicked on to try to find my way around the museum was locked unless I upgraded to the paid version.

Only a short article per exhibition room. No explanations etc. Maps are the same as on the flyer. Unbelievable that I have to pay to get nearly nothing. Don’t do it.

All of the reviews to date are accurate. The free download gives you nothing. The $2.99 upgrade, required to basically see anything, is also of limited value. No search feature. No functionality. They should be a shamed of themselves.

You post at the museum download this app to help you through the museum. Why download it and then when you click on something it’s oh for $2.99 you can unlock the features. This is a crappy rip off. I’ll just take a map at the museum.
