The Amicus is a staple in my detached garage when l can’t get to my local club. Tons of drills to keep me busy
On the days I am not playing with my coach, I play with AMICUS Prime. It helps keep me sharp until the next lesson.
Very pleased with this product how easy it can be managed.
The basic functions work in IOS but many features are not working well like wait serve feature, unable to save random mode, not all saved drills are imported successfully.
The amicus machine come with a low end tablet which has limited touch screen sensitivity. I broke the screen and I got in a panic mode until I find out I can download the software on my iPad I down load this software on both my I pad pro and my i phone . Actually my apple hardware wi if and blue tooth works very well with Amicus machine. The touch screen of I pad works very well with ball placements and direction. It is like day and night different with the new apple hardware as a controller It works great . I think the software is great .
Many bugs and not save data
The included Android tablet that came with a new Butterfly Amicus Prime broke after a week. I installed this Amicus app onto my iPhone and it works much better than the the Amicus app had worked on the slow, included (broken) Android tablet. The Amicus iPhone app is fast and responsive and connects to the robot via blue tooth with no configuration needed. The "secret" to connecting to the robot is: 1) Open Amicus App 2) press "Robot" icon at bottom 3) Name of robot will appear 4) IMPORTANT: click on the name of the robot 5) a new screen will appear that has among other information a "disconnect" link. Do not click it. 6) Click "exercises" icon at bottom.
Ball-per-minute adjustment does not work.
