Ampere Battery Charging Check

Waited 20 mins while it calculated the speed, just to get more ads.

App crash with v2.0.8

I got this app (and paid 99p for no ads). Expecting an upgrade from Ampere 4. This is a serious Downgrade. Only a fraction of the information and it leaves you to do the math yourself ! All wrapped up in a pretty-pretty pastel shell, with dumb comments continuously running over the screen. This is not worth it's space.

Allowed me to rate the efficacy of my different cables which have now all been labelled appropriately and some are destined for the bin. The app does give a few variable results for some cables so do try multiple measurements. A minor doubt is that a number of cables all seem to have the same charging rate (11.53W) which seems a bit suspect as this is via different charger plugs on different extension leads plugged into different sockets.

I am using a 65W charger and it just showed me over 100W charging rate! That is not possible!

Crashes every time during testing. Complete waist of time. Edit: seemingly has fixed itself after hard rebooting of he phone, so if others have the issue then try that. So I have now reevaluated my star rating from 1 to 4 stars (couldn’t quite give it 5 stars due to the initial issue mentioned above) as it does in fact work now and is pretty accurate.

i tried others wich was around 4.7 stars app and payable . to be honest this app showed same measures without money. i think is very good and not sure why its only 4stars . definatrly should be more than 4.5

Doesn’t produce any results - just offers glib statements about testing and displays adverts.

Upon checking the bug has been resolved Great app does want it says on the tin at a good price Tried most of the rest this is the best for simply testing your charging speed (power) —- Initial post: Don’t ask me to pay to remove ads then a year later ask me to pay again and put ads back on This is just greediness Why don’t you improve the app in some way and ask for payment for the extra feature Sticking ads back onto the app that I already paid for to remove ads is just a quick way to bring the end of your business peace out guys, app is getting deleted Ciao

I have tested this against a current measuring USB dongle and it’s accurate enough. My phone was charging at 1.01Ah and the app results said 977mAh which is 0.977Ah, that’s pretty much bang on. Only thing I’d suggest is a way to alter the iPhone battery charge capability because my battery holds 83% charge (according to the Apple battery check), so that needs to reflect in this app’s results. The app assumes the iPhone will hold full 100% capacity which is often not the case.
