Amperes - battery charge info

This is a very well-designed app, giving one accurate estimates of charge voltage and current, despite the limited-to-non-existent ability to directly read these metrics via iOS functions. As of iOS 17 (if not earlier) it works around these by polling for changes in battery charge level, in effect reverse engineering the voltage and current from those changes over time.

I have tried a few apps for testing my cables and plugs and amperes works the best out of them. Nice interface.

Took multiple readings and the results aren't even close. Anywhere from 0.8 to 1.5. Not reliable

I tried this app with several USB-C chargers with the same cable and I got wildly differing results. For example , I have 2 similar chargers - different models from the same manufacturer - but with the same fast charge specs and the results are never similar. Please don’t use this app.

Have been trying different configurations of cables and chargers with my iPhone 8 Plus, and the app tells me there is a phenomenal difference between cables, on the same charger!

I do not recommend this application. I installed it on my iPhone 8 fully update it reached 100. Which I set it up! Nothing happened my phone was still charging and over charging.

I don’t usually write reviews but I have to say this app is exactly what I was looking for and well worth the cost. It gives an approximate calculation based on the time it takes to charge a few percent. I was doing this manually to test my wireless and wired charging speeds, but the app is far simpler and more accurate than what I was doing. Very happy with it.

While testing the charge rate of different wires (in airplane mode so there’s no interference) I get 3 different readings in 3 tests. Whenever I hit test my screen goes black. The light setting has gone down to the lowest. When I click settings the program crashes and closes. I had better luck with the free version.
